The LyondellBasell Edison Plant was built in 1929 and is located 24 miles from Newark near the Raritan River. The site manufactures catalysts for many polyolefin processes, with the majority of production being the company’s Avant ZN catalysts. This is used in the production of polypropylene plastic resins. Serving as the supplier of polyolefin catalysts to the company’s customers worldwide, the site recently expanded to increase capacity.
