Elastic Recovery - Test Method Description

An internal LyondellBasell test method has been developed to help customers design optimal film structures for a variety of end-use applications.

Step 1 - Stretch the film to initial position at 1000mm/min

Step 2 - Hold the film at initial position for 10 seconds

Step 3 - Release to final position of the clamps

Step 4 - Hold at final position for 3 minutes - simulating the stretch
              hood fastening process *

* Test method stretching values can be changed depending on the packaging condition.
