PP Exterior Pipes - High-performance artesian well liners from Hostalen PP H2483
Italian manufacturer Riccini uses LyondellBasell’s high-modulus Hostalen PP H2483 resin to produce ECOPOZZO liners for wells that draw water from underground sources for municipal or industrial use.
Hostalen PP H2483 resin was selected for its intrinsic eco-compatibility (essential for applications in close contact with drinking water) in combination with its special mechanical properties. The high ring stiffness achievable with Hostalen PP H2483 resins is fundamental for the pipe sections, as it enables the pipe sections to withstand the sudden pressure changes resulting from pumping operations applied in the well. Hostalen PP H2483 resin is also selected for its resistance to corrosive attack by soil elements and the lightness of the downgauged pipe sections possible with this high-modulus resin. ECOPOZZO pipes are produced in diameters from 114 mm to 200 mm. These pipes are available with standard bell-joints or screw-threaded sections, in order to deliver high resistance to the traction loads often present in long, vertically-oriented pipe installations.
